She entered Electrology from her background as a Licensed Radiologic Technologist and has 27 years of experience as a Licensed Electrologist and Medical Aesthetician. Continuing education and advanced training are the foundation of Rita’s practice and an integral part of her success.

A graduate of the Orlando Institute of Electrolysis, in Orlando Florida and Esthetics International, in Columbia, South Carolina, Rita is also an active member of the Electrolysis Association of North Carolina, American Electrology Association, and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

AEA was established in 1958 and is the largest institutional nonprofit membership organization for permanent hair removal professionals. The AEA is dedicated to promoting high standards of competency, integrity and professionalism. The AEA affirms the practice of permanent hair removal as an allied health profession. It promotes the high standards in electrolgist’s education, practice, ethics and champions state licensing and regulations for the profession to protect the public interest.
